As for Dead Rising replaying through the original right now. I've raged quit at least twice, but I'm still enjoying it.

The first Dead Rising is very good. DR2 is cool too.
GoW1 to 3 were a fun ride. The best MP is on the 3rd.

Dead Rising 1 is perfect.
Dead Rising 2/OTR are great.
Dead Rising 3 is trash.
Gears 1 was perfect for 2006.
Gears 2 was had a decent campaign, shit Multi with the best maps.
Gears 3 had a shit campaign, with best gameplay and the worst multiplayer maps.
Why do people hate Deadrising 3? I just bought it recently and had just as much fun as I did with the previous games. It was a bit easier though.

i hear you, the later games felt like they took the lol crude humor of the first one and missed the tone and some of the subtle elements,the first one felt like almost a parody at times but it had an interesting story and characters, 2 and 3 just didnt have the magic for me.i actually got 7 day survivor

Its a lot of back and forth, the first 2 were like that I know but at least you had places to go on the back and forth, and zombies to kill. Most of the back and forth on 3 is just getting in vehicles and driving across those 2 highway bridges. Oh and the graphics settings on PC are named by resolution, 720p = low, 900p = medium and so on. And its optimized like crap

I am 30 years old and I have experienced quite a few console launches now and their accompying hype. Heck I own almost every console for the past 4-5 gens.
But never before have I been the least excited for a generation. I own an xbone, buts that's a glorified bluray player and I find no compelling reason to buy a PS4.
Everything is just so... Meh...

I still remember seeing the first trailer for Dead Rising. and it was just astounding to see all those zombies and the fact that you could use pretty much anything as a weapon.
