What video game has the most emergent complexity?
Clarification: "Emergent complexity" in this context refers to the amount of detail in the game that is not deliberately programmed in, whether it be unintended features or creative gameplay strategies.

No.

Probably MOBAs and arena FPS. Possibly also character action games such as DMC.
Or pretty much any game if it's speedrun.

/g/ doesn't have any appreciation for emergent complexity, it leans more towards the science part of computer science than the blind coding they do.

>FPS games
FPS games have very little unintended detail to them most of the time, but if one is intending to implement emergent complexity then combat games are among the best for doing it because you only need to make sure you're not doing anything game-breaking when you design and program: competition will make people look for every way to gain an advantage.

If you count highly complex exploits, it's up there.
If you don't, it has pretty much nothing to it that wasn't intended.
