I played it for 3 hours, couldn't adapt to the clunky controls and abandoned it after the crafting system popped up.

Put experience into spell points as opposed to attribute points.
1. Extremely horrid performance. You literally need to mess around with injectors or control tools to reduce the issue
2. The dodge mechanics is not well done.
3. Its not just super slow, it also did not learn anything from Dark Souls about WHY slow attacks is a good thing

The problem is that you have to go trough LORE CUTSCENES. Which would be fine if they where short parody scenes.
Dark Souls has all the lore happening offscreen, which means you get to ignore it if its shit.

Its sorta the same deal that was with Legend of Zelda clones back during the NES era.
They where simply inferior, I.E Golden Axe Warrior. There is shitloads of decisions where it shits itself compared to Zelda, which cripples what could have been a good game.
