>>
None, git fucking gud you inbred.
>>
>>330848532
Vice City Stories, the horrible controls added up to the difficulty though.
>>
>>330848532
Most fighting games.

this
never give up
>>
>>330848532
Bloodborne
I literally can't see Paarl's attacks, its impossible to me.
>>
>>330848747
Vice Cities stories is really that difficult? never piced up the game but GTA games have never been remotely hard in my experience.
>>
>>330849412
It's not he just must be realy bad at video games.
>>
>>330848532
uh, none because i'm not a newfag casual millenial piece of shit.
>>
>>330849412
Not the game, the controls for it and Liberty City Stories is godawful.
Not enough to break the game, but enough that your fun is curtailed by it.
>>
I quit playing Vi because it was shit.
>>
>>330849590
It's a well designed game, you mean shit as in 'artifcially' difficult, maybe
>>
>>330848532
La Mulana, but that's more because I looked up a guide and quit in shame.
>>
>>330849412
Mostly for the controls, I have played III, Vice City and San Andreas on PC and those were alright.

You need to be fast and precise in certain missions and the control/camera doesnt help at all.
>>
>>330849319
Normal or the chalice one?
>>
>>330849319
you gave up on the game over an optional boss?
>>
>>330849842
I don't know anything about chalice.
I died once after Blood-Starved Beast and found myself somewhere new.
>>
>>330849905
That was just the last drop.
All the bosses except BSB were extremely difficult, I just couldn't adapt to the fast.
>>
Difficulty alone is no reason to give up.
I need to feel like a game simply isn't rewarding in the slightest to get good at before I decide it isn't worth the effort and my time would be better spent playing what I consider better designed games.
>>
>>330848532
I JUST ragequit Darkest Dungeon.

I fucking hate RNG such as 4-9 dmg.

At least make it not as retarded like 4-6 or 8-12, max.
>>
>>330848532
I plan on getting back to it so I wouldn't say I dropped it, but I got stuck on the last boss in oath on my nightmare run, and I haven't played it for a couple months now.
>>
>>330850429
That's just an arrogant opinion. No matter how well-designed a game, there are some games that you have to concede are not worth the trouble.
>>
>>330848532
That game actually looks kinda fun OP. Is it worth the buy?
>>
>>330850676
I'd say wait for a sale
>>
>>330848532
Meatboy. I stopped caring when I couldn't do the vertical fling shit in the final areas.
>>
>>330850657
I can't say I've run into such games, then.
I mean, there's some shmups I doubt I will ever be good enough to truly beat, but I still play them now and again anyway.
>>
>>330849319
Why do you need to see his attacks? Stand under him and whack his legs til he moves or sparks then dodge out. After enough hits you'll knock him down then you can hammer his head and probably almost kill him or kill him outright.
>>
>>330848532
Stalker. I'm casul.
>>
Wings of Vi got fucking bullshit hard later on, plus the controls being not always 1 to 1 made it so incredibly frustrating.
>>
>>330850948
Stalker's not difficult, it's just intentionally throws your bullets off course.

One reason I refuse to play vanilla.
>>
>>330850959
>the controls being not always 1 to 1
What does this mean?
>>
>>330851052
The controls don't have the precision to do some of the game's bullshit platforming without dying over and over again.
>>
>>330850948
There's very little you can't do just by sticking to cover and hoarding healing supplies and ammunition.
>>
>>330851051
What do you mean? It actively detects if your crosshairs are on an enemy and calculates outside it? This is the first I've heard of such a thing.
>>
>>330848532
Any Puzzle/Adventure game like Grim Fandango or Ghost Trick. I'm awful at experimenting with items and such until something works out. Also not smart enough to guess what I'm supposed to do,
>>
>>330851669
All it takes is determination. I've played a million adventure games, many of which feature complete bullshit solutions. Eventually you just run out of things to try.

Did eshi ever finish this?
pls say yes
>>
>>330850676
Yes, as long as you keep in mind OP quit because of the difficulty.

I had slightly over 10,000 deaths at the end of my first playthrough. 2 of my friends had 8000 and 6000.
>>
God Hand, I seriously can't beat the first boss the gay couple, I tried like 5 times and simply haven't had the motivation to try again, I'm really trying.
>>
>>330851919
I think so, but I dunno where it is
it got colored, at least
>>
>>330851149
I've beaten the game twice and I have no idea what you mean by this.

I wish he had a tumblr or some shit. Why do the good ones uave to be so finniky about keeping their art?
>>
>>330851865
I suppose. But when every puzzle is solved by exhausting all options you run out of determination pretty quickly.
I'll try to keep at it though, these games always have such interesting plots and dialogue.
>>
I Wanna Kill the Kamilia 3.
I don't even know why I tried.
>>
>>330852375
A good adventure game drops some clues with what you're supposed to do. Stretch that logic, mang. The Deponia games were pretty good about audio cues if you listen close enough to phrasing.
>>
Only CS:GO, since I just don't like the idea of memorizing spray patters for different guns. I could easily do it if I put in the effort, but I'm just going to stick to shooters where my bullets go to where my crosshair is pointing every time.
>>
>>330848532
Ninja Gaiden

It was so embarrassing, the game made fun of me super hard for switching to easy
>>
>>330848532
Wings of Vi.
I got it as a gift, I tried to like it but I just hate these type of games. Played it for a few hours.
>>
>>330852942
>these type of games
XBLA crap with shitty porn?
But everyone loves those games!
>>
>>330848532
Ys Seven. That one fight with the knight guard dude who betrays you towards the end that teleports around and shit. Yeah. Fuck him.
>>
>>330853080
???
It's a PC game.
>>
>>330849715

I don't think there's any shame in looking up a guide for La-Mulana. The alternative is wandering for hours not knowing what to do, which isn't fun.

Especially if you didn't heed the advice of copying down every tablet's messages the first time you read them, so you have to read them again to copy em. It's kinda shit that some of the tablets 30 minutes in reference puzzles near the end of the game.
>>
>>330853080
I was thinking Kaizo Mario World inspired games. I'll stay with vanilla SMW, which is one of my absolute favorite games of all time.

Romancing SaGa 3
I don't know what the hell is up with that game, either I was just playing it wrong, or that game is hard as balls.

So first of all, depending on which character you use, characters will treat you differently.
The money gains in this game are absolute shit, and everything is as expensive as fuck but there is a trick for you to get extra money after getting an item. BUT you can only hold on to so much, and have to put the rest in your bank.

Depending on what character you have though, the banker will refuse to hold your money. I don't know what the deal with that shit is.

Other than that, I didn't know where to go. There's a rat cave, go in there and kill them. You go in, it locks you inside, and you get killed by a swarm of rats
Go inside this dungeon here and fight a demon. Demon beats the shit out of you.

Go inside of this guy's dream and finally the game will cut you a break by giving you items that can fully heal you. Too bad they're dream items, and if you leveled up too much, the rest of the game will kick your shit in.

Sprite work is nice though
>>
>>330852251
a-at least he's got a DA
that's never been updated since the stone age ;_;
>>
>>330854058
SaGas are very open. Generally your character only affects the start and end, while the rest of the game is the world being open to each character in about the same amount. It's generally very easy to wander into a high power area or event and a lot of main story events are just tied to your Max HP total on your MC in the RomSaGas on snes
>>
>>330854361
Have you played/beaten any of the SaGa games?
I mean, I like the ambitious idea behind them, but these games are too hard.
>>
>>330854809
Most of them, they just take trial and error and an understanding of the combat system.

If something doesn't kill you immediately odds are you can kill it. They also generally aren't a game you want to grind a lot for. Except for the two frontiers, due to how BR and ER works in those grinding is fine.

BR is also something you'd do well to learn about since every SaGa snes and on uses it. Every area in a SaGa generally has a battle rank assigned to it which is the general scale of enemy power. different games have different BR caps but generally a map will be your BR +/- some amount with it's own cap built into a map. So a low level starting area tends to be BR -2 or something with a cap of 4 so you always fight low level stuff. While another place might be BR+3 with a max cap so you always fight high level stuff.

Higher BR encounter = higher chances of stat gains and sparking abilities. Except in US where it's just for sparking abilities since your stats are determined by the skill grid.
