It's a reallyfunhandheld to play on but there's a serious lack of variety on games on it.
A lot of the games on it that are good are anime and most of them are RPG's or DRPG's so if you don't like those games than it's probably not the console for you.

I love my Vita but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Only worth it if you want to play portable versions of games that are already/coming to PS4/PC.
As a side note Tecmo Koei games look like garbage on it unless the game was originally made with it on mind (Toukiden Kiwami). Everything else like their Musou games look like garbage.
Bamco games manage to look good on it regardless.

I bought a vita today and I don't like RPGs or DRPGs that much (although I do love roguelikes) but there's still plenty of games I'm planning on buying.
Gravity Rush, Senran Kagura, Lumines, Freedom Wars, Soul Sacrifice Delta and Toukiden Kiwami (or however it's spelt).
And that's not even touching all those delicious rhythm games.

Almost 80% of my Vita library consists of console, indie and PS1 ports.
