Long ass cutscenes and character convos, the cutscenes are good though and can be paused.
I personally wouldn't play it on lunch breaks because I wouldn't want to put it down but that's just me, the story is really good.
By all means, go for it. If you're pirating you've got nothing to lose but an hour of fun on your break if you don't like it.

The graphics were already not great on the wii version, and honestly after playing through both the only thing the N3DS version feels like it's missing is a little more lighting. My personal opinion is that any game is made better by being on a handheld because of the massive jump in convenience and comfort, and that extends especially to rpgs, so I can just whip it out at any given moment, make some progress, and not have to bother with booting up the home console. Then again, I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who'd prefer N3DS Xenoblade over Wii, so I guess take my opinion with a grain of salt OP

The emulated version completely blew away the console version, it was actually developed in HD. Everything seems perfectly arranged for it to be emulated in 1080p for full-fucking enjoyment.
I can't imagine it any other way now, and deeply regreted playing it un-emulated.
