Maybe. Hopefully it won't be as ridiculous for combos as 13 and apparently the it has stronger normals and fireball game, so it's not rushdown all the time game, that combined with more lenient inputs of modern fighting gaming can make it easier to start than something like 98 or 2k2.
But you should still try 98 or 2k2 at fightcade, as it doesn't cost anything.

Ryo sucked in XII and XIII because he didn't have any specials he didn't have in the original Art of Fighting. That's really barebones, he should always have koho shippuu ken and moko raijin setsu at least. Biiru bin kiri was a cool attack in XI as well.

It looks alright now, really could use some visible muscle tone on characters like Leona. It would go a long way. its really weird though because everything about their clothes looks great and detailed other than one or two designs I dont care for, but the character models themselves are lacking detail so they look like shiny plastic. also the game in general is too bright and shiny and clean Id say so it tends to look too sterile in alot of shots, alot of color is fine but they need it dirty it up a bit. the last few characters revealed like Terry Ralf Clark and Tung look perfectly fine though.
