I've got like 200 or so hours in L4D2 and almost all of that was with a select group of friends.
I'm not kidding when I say the few random matches I played were literally the worst online experiences I've ever had with an online community in my entire life.

I had some experience with this a few years back. I barely played L4D2 but decided to try a pug game online. As you can guess it was a horrible mistake.

Something about l4d2 turns everyone into giant assholes, it's like the PERFECT formula to do it.
