There's nothing "shitter" about abandoning all progress in the map and reattempting it with your gained knowledge. Just like how people start real life projects from scratch all the time instead of committing to their fuckups.
Continuing with the map in spite of already fucking up is what people do when they play in Casual, just saying. It's also what creditfeeders do in arcade games after they've lost their lives/fucked up their scoring momentum.
