What buttons do you hold down?
B and Down IIRC
>>330621414
I would wiggle the d-pad with the movement of the ball
>>330621773
Redderp
>>330621414
I tap A and B repeatedly.
>>330621773
>he holds the "no" button
it's A+down silly goose
I put my gameboy between my ass cheeks that way the pokemon wont try to get out, if he tries he gets a surprise and so do I.

>>330621414
I used to abuse tap A and B.
>>330621414
>hold down
you press a everytime the ball touches the ground then press a at the beginning of every wiggle
>>330621414
B-Down
>>330621414
Just B.
This is how I used to do it as a kid:
B while the ball is in the air, switch to A when it hits, switch back to B when it closes, tap A while still holding B every time it jiggles.
>>330621414
Amazingly enough I did nothing, though I would do a gay, swishy maneuver with my finger every time it shook. Naughty Pokéball!
tap the center of the pokeball and do a quick rotation just before it'd normally shake(gen 4). This has to work because it sure as hell made everything easier to catch.

This
>>330621414
I hold A and B and down, while also yelling gotcha into the mic
Before you ask my why I yell into the mic, that's an actual thing that actually works, like not even joking. It's a thing
Hold a when the ball closes.
Wiggle the handheld to the timing of each shake.

Garunteed or your money back.
Your rituals do nothing. It's all probability and you are not in control.
>>330623694
Thanks, now everyone in the house is awake and the cops are on their way.
>holding A + B + DOWN isn't the only method
What the hell?
I did nothing because I'm not a retard who thinks I have agency where there is none.
>>330622137
MY NIGGA. Except I would wiggle it opposite of which way it was leaning to make it feel like I was struggling with it.
>>330621414
Holding the B button actually did do something in R/B.
It sped up the Pokeball shaking animation.
So its not like holding B was a waste of time.
alternate left and right.
Mash A, B, and the D-pad.
Hold A + B and rotate my thumb on the D-pad clockwise
since 4th gen, you're supposed to say "GOTCHA" into the mic on the DS/3DS as soon as the pokeball hits the pokemon. this is what it specifically says in the manual for D/P, and it is said to better the catch rate. that shit's for kids. all you have to do is gently blow into the mic. i do it each time
Spam A
>>330621414
Up down left right b and then a the second it closes
>>330621414
B+left or right together with the pokeball
I could swear that shit worked.
A+B+Start+Select
I would specifically not touch anything and look away and stay very still
>>330622836
>holding down
>down which signifies failure
It's A+Up, you dumb asshole
>>330626896
holding up would make the pokeball lid go up, holding down is like pressing down on the pokeball, not allowing the pokemon to escape
>>330621414
Hold down, tap B. Works wonders.
Hold the A buttom and clench my left fist towards me while staring at the pokeball like Ash Ketchup.
>>330627089
You press up to show the game that it's all cool to catch the pokemon. Pressing down would confuse the game and cause it to release
>>330621414
I mash the A button to get to the next ball faster. I do however tilt my head with the ball.
>>330621414
The power button
>>330621414
none because it doesn't affect the chance at all
Press A as soon as the ball closes
Then use the D-pad to move in opposite direction of the moment
an a press every time the ball ticks around
>>330629062
This.
Anyone who does otherwise is superstitious, mistaken, and/or delusional.
>>330623836
The moment I started doing rituals I caught Kanghaskhan, Tauros, and Chansey
I always held A+Right.
>>330621414
hold down A+B until the first wiggle.
>>330621414
half of the A button
>>330621414
I didn't do anything, I'd just throw balls at the thing until it's caught.
