The reference 290x pcb can take one hell of a beating due to AMD over engineering it (sauce: buildzoid) which means unles its a vapor-x or lightning it will take you pretty far as long as its cooled. Naturally the vapor-x is the champion on air and the lightning is the champion under water/LN2. MSi really need to bin their lighting dies though.
