That's not unusual at all. PC players are a more educated, affluent crowd. They realize that multiplatforms must ALWAYS be played on PC, the plainly superior platform. PC has better graphics, controls, mods, and online. Period. They understand that hobbies, just like life, should be taken seriously.

Actually, the top competitive StarCraft players are universally physically fit. And there's a lot of them, so that's a good sample.
Your reaction speed and endurance are decreased when you're a fat slob. This is a little embarrassing, but that's part of the reason I run 3x a week and lift 3x a week. If I'm going to play competitive multiplayer games, I want to try my best. Being fit is part of that.

Yeah. I only play 2 genres. First, arena shooters for online and competition. Second, I play CRPGs from the 1980s through modern times for story. Flavor of the month AAA games hold zero interest.
In my law firm's NY office of 6 attorneys, 4 of them still play video games. It's common. It's also way easier if you don't have kids. What, should I spend my down time watching TV instead? No thanks.
