It's a niche IP that outdoes AAA in amount of script size due to every character in the game having many stories to tell as you progress through each main plot scenario.
At least that's what I got from Trails in the Sky 1 and I'm guessing SC is similar in this aspect.

Hey, idiot, the PSP ports had worse textures, ran 272p, 30 fps, and the english releases don't have the finished script/bugfixes, achievements, cloud saving, regional pricing, etc.
The Steam/GoG releases have all of that on top of running at an unlocked resolution and framerate. They also went an extra mile and took the PS3 artwork, got the FMVs to look the best they can, hacked the game so it runs on widescreen resolutions, hacked the PSP content back into the PC version.
You have to be that crying idiot in the PS beanie to play the fucking PSP version over the PC XSEED releases.
