I play CSGO at 400fps on a 144Hz panel because it actually benefits from it. Dark Souls is slow as fuck and would honestly be fine at 30.
That said, consolecucks are BTFO because they won't even get it at 30. If Bloodborne was any indication it'll have awful framepacing and dips to 20fps during boss battles.

Sure capped fps sucks, but 60 is still leaps and bounds better than 30. Because everyone can take advantage of 60.

It is. Framerate caps should not exist at all on PC. The only reason you would want to implement a framerate cap is if you program your game so that it doesn't work at higher framerates. You'd think AAA devs would know how to make a fucking game that doesn't require setting arbitrary limitations for it to work correctly. And yes, From is a AAA studio.
