What are some games with 24 hour, real time day/night cycles?
The only ones I can think of offhand are the 2nd-gen Pokemon games.
Animal Crossing.

Animal Crossing

Is it good? I have a 3ds.

Nope, stopped after 3rd gen, cause I didn't have a ds, and by the time I got one, I'd pretty much outgrew pokemon. Besides, it seems that most of the designs have only worsened with time.

Why are gen 2 nights ago comfy?

Giantbomb surprisingly has a list of such games, even the most recent ones. Also Pokemon Gen5 has Day/Night cycles and Seasons

Maybe it's nostalgia, but looking at that picture gave me a sensation of calm coziness.

The day and night scales aren't exactly 24 hours, if I recall 7 minutes real time is an hour in Tibia

So there's Animal Crossing, WoW, and Pokemon. That's it?
Why don't more games have this feature?
>>330424214
Pokemon Gen 4, Pokemon Gen 5 and Pokemon Gen 6.

Because it doesn't make sense for most games. All it really does is make you wait 12 hours to access some content.
There was that star wars game for the gamecube, you flew around in a ship or something I don't know.
The planets had a 24H day/night cycle based on the gamecube clock. On saturdays you could find C3PO as an easter egg in the first level
>>330425840
I could see it working with open world games and MMOs.

Well, at any rate, gens 4, 5, and 6 all had it. It's barely visible in 6 though since everything's bright 24/7.
I honestly wasn't sure if it existed in 6 at all or not until several days in.
>>330425840
There is no reason they have to lock content behind the time of day with most games.
>>330426450
It was pretty clear in XY/ORAS, I felt. The issue was more that the transition itself is barely noticeable unlike DPPt/HGSS or the BW games.

Those aren't real-time
