It's hard because enemies level with your highest leveled character, not the average.
It's also hard at the start because you can't abuse class/skill/weapon combos.

Its more of a medium. As for the why, its because timing and positioning actually matters in this game.

I've tried the game once, and the story just didn't draw me in. Too much politics and the "old english" style is just too much to want to read. Its kind of like women. A slight accent is a lot sexier than a strong accent, and slightly smart is a lot sexier than incredibly smart.

There's actually a known glitch in the PSP version that causes all combat animations to run at half speed. You can find a patch somewhere online.
This is really fucking noticeable if you mass-cast holy with an arithmancer. Takes two goddamn minutes for the animations to finish.

This is an interesting take on getting away with it, assuming you think Delita is the villain. Unless you mean that he gets away with it in the sense that history remembers him fondly and forgets Ramza, who is still alive but in exile at the end of the game.

Delita wasn't the villain. He's an anti-hero at best. And he certainly didn't feel like the victor, not after what happens to the princess.

I thought it was pretty poignant that she died on the knife he gave her to defend herself much earlier in the game.
Even if he didn't deeply care for the princess, it was still a pyrrhic victory for him. He definitely wasn't a happy man at the end of the game.

It's been a long time since I played Tactics, but I had the sense that Delita did care but couldn't show it because he was constantly surrounded by enemies. So it only showed up in the couple of scenes with him and Orran.
