The question isn't whether or not the game actually sold well (because you can just market the game to morons and have great sales without any content, to be honest), the question is how long will it last, a large portion of the multiplayer-only games have alarmingly dropped their playerbase in the first month or two.
How much content does The Divison have?, are there enough events to keep people coming back?, Will the game "titanfall"?

Having fun with it only because i get to do the pvp style that i like. Most games baby you for pvp or make ut bo penalty this is good. Not anything special in the setting story or gameplay department althou i do enjoy the weather effects. People only hate it because they played the tutorial and didnt realize there was more too it.

It's not like they compared The Division to anything else coming out this month. Games pretty good. Not going to tear me away from pic related much tho. It's better than Destiny in almost every way except queueable PVP. So if your into Destiny, but never got a console than go for it. It's pretty ok. I'll be playing PVZ:GW2 and Ori the Definitive Edition for a bit tho.

Played the beta, I think the concept is interesting but the gameplay got rather repetitive quickly. I think the environment could use a bit of work, and the PVP areas were rather meh.

It's most similar to Destiny in pacing and objectives. You shoot things, you pick up loot, and you do it again.
At least the Division came out with 26 dungeons (missions) that are pretty unique on fights. One dungeon I love is all CQC office building fighting and then at the end you have to hold down a really fucking small department store while snipers shoot through windows and they bum rush the only way out.
