great video game
whos the dev.
>>330344051
Meanwhile, Nvidia pulls back drivers due to being too buggy.
>>330344051
Thanks anon.
>Still no fix for UE4 compatiblity
Bravo AMD, you've had several months to fix this, now I can't even play UT4 or Paragon with any settings above lowest.
Of course
>Can't run in DX12 mode because hurr durr we won't let you run on 7
>We didn't bake Opengl mode so you can't run it
Bravo Epic too.
>>330344396
a few weeks ago amd literally had a driver out that destroyed graphics cards.

New nvidia driver was just re-released, btw
>>330344549
hmm, musta missed that one.
or maybe you're just talking out of your ass kid.
i suspect the latter
>>330344051
>external GPU's over USB
This is a thing? How do they perform?
>>330344549
literally?
they literally did it?
so it wasn't like a figurative driver that might have done something like the lies in your brain tell you, it was a literal action on their part.
wow, interesting if true.
>AMD has bad drivers meme
They only get this because nvidia pays studios/publishers/companies money to develop programs with nvidia cards in mind, so when a game releases, nvidia has the upper hand with drivers, then AMD has to play catch up.
Other times, nvidia's jewish tricks make the games run worse, like Alice Madness Returns' hair physics, Arkham Knights' water physics, bloat by tessellation and more. Nvidia does not care about ensuring games run great on all cards, for all systems, they only care that it promotes their latest card's newest broken gimmicks.

Intel is the only choice.
Buy Genuine Intel©®(ᵍᵒʸ) today.
>tfw having to wait months for polaris
I'd get a 390 or 390x in a heartbeat if the new cards were further away but they're so damn close. Still would be a way better buy than getting anything in the Nvidia 900 series....those cards are already going into the dumpster and Pascal ain't even out yet.

>weeks
months
>destroyed
overheated temporally, causing blue screens
>graphics cards
only if you modified the fan curve in a few third party overclocking applications.

amd does have shitty drivers.
it took them 9 days to release a driver to fix fury's shititng themselves in GoW Ultimate
it took them MONTHS to fix a fury specific issue that occured after your pc's been turned on for a long time and horizontal lines appeared on your monitor
and they STILL havent fixed fury cards dropping frequencies for no reason during gameplay. They literally just added an option in the newest driver to completley turn off throttling. Which is just a shitty workaround. This issue has been present for over half a year.
>>330345478
u mad?
>>330345019
They had awful drivers up until this one.
They fixed all the issues, added features and increased performance all across the board. It's perfect now.
>>330344498
Might work, GoW is UE4
Try it
>>330345538
Meanwhile, Nvidia has released multiple drivers that baked cards. Not just one, but multiple. And they work on purposefully breaking games in a way so they only work on their cards.
This is not to mention the time when some of their cards popped VRMs even during normal operation.
>>330344498
what? I ran Solus Project last week, it runs great.
did you forget to install ue4 prereqs?
>>330344712
Better for laptops, although theyre stuck with their CPU which most likely bottle neck
>>330344712
Patchnotes says still needs device side support, and it's USB3-C only.
>>330344549
>exactly two people reported that once

Those were beta drivers anyway
You install those at your own risk

amd conference on 14th, they may announce or at least clarify a few thigns
probably fury x2 only handful of people care about
When I check for update it says 15.3 is newest. I have an 280x
>>330346375
15.3 are the latest stable drivers
16.3 are the latest beta drivers
no idea how the naming convention works but there you go
>>330346271
Nah it's confirmed they're talking about Polaris.
They'll be putting out Fury X2 VR devkits though. It's honestly a marketing stunt because they fit them into tiny boxes.
>>330346435
it's just whql signature that has no actual meaning anymore anyway
beta drivers 9 cases out of 10 better than 3 month old whql
i jumped nvidia ship in right time, jus before 770 full throtle gimping and right on time for good amd drivers
