Which game do you pick?
is this an aggregate, or just one person's opinion
>>330299660
aggregate
I don't really know what this means, but single player only anyway.
SP
Fuck people
>>330299660
I think the question is a choice between a perfect single player game, a perfect multiplayer game, or a really good (but imperfect) game with single player and multiplayer
>>330299602
SP > MP > SP + MP
Stupid thread friend.
>>330299602
A STAR IS A STAR
None of those.
>MP games
>5 stars
>implying that has happened since '04

shut the fuck up
>>330299602
Coop, all day every day
>>330299602
Perfect multiplayer games are impossible, because other human beings will never be perfect.
Perfect SP game is the only true choice.
>>330300082
meme-ing aside, fuck the concept of sub-dividing stars
mp
>>330300082
fuck off ""henry""
SP
I don't have to worry about nerfs to my magic.
>5/5 gameplay, 1/5 story and atmosphere
or
>4/5 gameplay, 5/5 story and atmosphere
>>330300405
The second, it's not even close. A better question is 2/5 gameplay for the second.
>>330300405
4,5,5
I need muh atmosphere.
>>330300405
Both have their place depending on genre
>>330300405
So like Godhand vs Witcher 3 or something?
5/5 gameplay.
>>330299602
Single of course. With my level of autism playing with other people is torture. Unless they are nice and comfy. But that almost never ever happens :(
>>330299835
>3.5/5
>"really good"
Top kek
>>330300405
Gameplay over everything, first choice.
>>330300405
Nintendo for first choice, Sony for second choice.
>>330300405
Second choice for sure.
>Giving a multiplayer game a rating
What's the criteria?
>>330301302
Sony is more like 3/5 gameplay
Single-player games are the only games that deliver what I'm seeking. Multiplayer reduces a game's entire world to a series of action scenes where the narrative context is irrelevant and setting is reduced to a set of tactical advantages and disadvantages, and when you try to put it on the same disc as a single-player game you just end up splitting the budget. Single-player all the way.
>>330300405
Second definitely. I can forgive flawed gameplay if the music gets me going and I'm engaged with the setting. I can even forgive middling to poor, 3/5 or 2/5 gameplay under those circumstances. Most of what I play is turn-based anyway.
>>330301975
The game can have good controls, good strategies possible, good customization, good graphics, good sound, good mechanics in general.
I suppose the fanbase can still be shit despite those things though.
>>330299602
Single player only. How the fuck is this even a question?
