I'm hoping that they decide to give FF7 some more basic treatment as opposed to the garbage we saw in XI-XIV. From what we've seen in the trailers, it really just looks like KH (maybe minus jumping).
I recently started replaying FF7, and while there was some fun in how efficiently I could kill monsters by using strategy, there were then some battles that were just tedious. Most, I'd say. Most of the thrill so far has been in casting Bolt while the other party member takes the other enemy out ASAP with attacks.
Honestly, that's probably too slow these days. It was slow even then when fighting things like the giant coconut enemy near Corel.
So, based on the trailer, I'm curious to see what they throw out.
