Keep blocking and press Q to shove enemies to break their block, never attack somebody who is blocking
Craft a spear as soon as possible

What I mean by inconsistent is I block an attack and can only attack once before regain composure.
If they block my attack I get attacked twice before I can react. it's the reason I always die.

some weapons attack faster than others, it's in the weapon stats
wound intensity and speed rating
1-3 speed, 3 is fastest and you can hit twice with them
besides that it's either lag or you not reacting fast enough

Nah the devs are really banking on this game to be successful and they're going to keep working on it. The short 20-25 minute rounds and addictive gameplay will continue to be popular, especially with free future updates
