The problem with Samus and the whole Zero Suit/Power Suit thing is that there's literally no downside to her wearing the Power Suit. In other games you could argue that a character would have different strengths while in Power Armor and otherwise, but with Samus there's literally no downside. In the Power Suit she can jump higher, run faster, take more damage, has better firepower, and can turn into a tiny ball for sneaking around. There's literally no reason for her to be without the suit and any segment without it will seem like forced bullshit to include the Zero Suit.

Other M is a bad game, but it's still a legitimate Metroid game and worth dredging through for diehard fans for the few neat moments. Prime Hunters is not only an awful game, and worse than Other M, but it's not even a real Metroid game in terms of gameplay.
