Still not as good as GTAV tho. I mean it had jetpacks, stealth, and better vehicles, but gameplay wise and content wise overall it's still worse. Second best GTA at best objectively.

I played GTA San Andreas around its release for PS2, didn't complete because PS2 was in poor condition. 3-4 years, get it for my 360, beat it. I just completed it again a few days ago. Still the best GTA in terms of single player. Haven't gotten it for PC to mod in multiplayer, so I can't give a good judgement compared to GTA Online, but if the mod keeps all of the features from single-player, I feel it still would be good for a mod.

GTA IV:
This one I have played quite a bit of, but I have only completed the LaD DLC, and that was a short one. The original story was very repetitive, and it would grow more noticeable as time went on until the "heist"(?), in which then you literally have more money than you know what to do with. The BoGT DLC was probably the most entertaining for GTA IV, but even then, l was never kept long enough to finish it.
GTA V:
I have to say, this one is truly a great game. I like GTA San Andreas more, but this is a close second. The main reason being the fact of I was in the hype, but I feel it truly was wrong for Rockstar to hype up their GTA Online the most, and hype up heists for GTA Online, and then release them 2 years later, that truly ticked me. I got to play a little bit of 1st-person (I haven't got a powerful PC, nor a next gen console), and I say that it was a fun change, even if the default controls for it was frustrating (I did later change them). Also, the story was more reliant on the side missions, random events, and Online instead of the main story, and was too short personally.
