sequel, when?
Never
I'm in the credits of this game though, did some alpha testing for it.
>>329795031
prove it
never
it was a niche game when it came out, and will now be even more obscure.
shame
>>329795061
I cannot since I would have to say my name, I was a tester for Fable, The Movies and Black & White 2 and a couple never released games.
/agdg/ here
Never. But I've thought about making a game similar to GameBiz for the movie industry.
>>329795213
yeah, right....
>>329795291
good luck, but dont forget the movie creator/editor
its the charm of the game
>tfw I played this game for hours as a teenager
>making my own movies and shit
>now work as an editor
t-thanks, Peter Molyneux.
>>329795868
You can do anything!
>>329795680
I saw Dimitri before it because the Milo thing. I tested the multiplayer for Black & White 2 that was supposed to be patched in and never was.
There was also a game called B.C that got cancelled which you can see here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POZEB-H_k_0.
I only did minor testing on The Movies but still put me in the credits.
William McDuff > Every other DJ
>craft a beautiful screenplay with twists, arcs and themes
>"rated three and a half out of five stars"
>>329794829
It's so obscure not even /v/ has threads about it.
>>329796035
>tfw you realize the way to create the most profitable studio easily is to just have people write scripts, cut out as many scenes and sets as possible until it's 5 stars, and then release it as a soulless cash grab
>do this ad verbatim until film itself dies in the 90's
It was too realistic, if they made a sequel the secret would be to create three scripts, and then just remake those over and over again the entire game.
>>329796035
Screenplays just went by number of scenes. It was best just pick 5 of the shortest scenes, and have different actors in each one, and a different location in each one.
That usually got you end of the year awards.
Get the mod that keeps actors always happy. Improves the game 300%
>>329796730
Why, the game is already so easy, happiness was one of the few forms of difficulty in the game
Never, which is a shame really. It was a fun little sim/management game that was pretty damn cozy.
Uploading movies to the internet was also cool, back when it wasn't as widespread and normal.
>>329796814
Because micromanaging a roster of 20 actors is tedious, repetitive, and boring.
>>329795213
BC?
The sim genre in general is dead. I had hoped the indie-renaissance would have revived it, but apparently all people want is platformers and puzzle games.
>>329797086
Well there's that theme park/coaster sim that's coming out pretty soon which is suppose to be more RCT4 then what RCT4 actually is.
>>329796029
>/v/ lies to try to make friends, the person
you are a sad little person
>>329796876
Holy shit, you had 20 actors at the same time? Where do you put all those trailers?
I never went above 8 including directors, and rarely ever made more than one film at once.
This was one of the most disappointing Molyneux games. Why do you want a sequel?
>>329797384
Yeah. I have my old save open now. I try to 3 or 4 films at a time, and I also liked huge ensemble casts.
>>329794829
wasn't this glitchy as fucking shit
>>329797171
Its more of a park design tool than a game. I've played the pre-alpha, and while you can build pretty much anything, the sim part is almost non-existant.
Does the upload to Youtube thing still work?
>>329797006
Yeah BC, you can see the video I linked earlier.
It was pretty barebones, I only did some testing on the T-Rex.
>>329798210
I'm not sure what you mean, but the official upload site has been shut down a few years ago...
It had its moments.

oh shit I remember that thread
>>329800305
kino
>>329797576
I got 6 hours in and hit a no progression bug, then found out there were never any patches.
