>game has 99% positive reviews

Well, it's a very good autism simulator, so 99 is accurate.
I feel really sorry for the devs who launched it at the same time as Stardew It would have had a fuckton more sales and word of mouth if it hadn't had its moment drowned out by a bigger game.
Literally my favorite game of all time.

>Stardew
Literally a Farmville.
RELEASE 13.0 ALREADY
ALL THIS TEASING ABOUT IMPROVED TRAINS IS FUCKING INSANE
people who play games like this and path of exile have some kind of mental illness
>>329793995
Why is that, Anon?
I don't quite get it though, played it, maxed out everything and had a super production running and you suddenly don't have anything to do. This game might profitate from a bit survival-stuff - if you want to play factory-autism sims, modded mc is still the best
I gave up once I automated science 1 and looked at what was required to automate science 2. I just can't.
>>329795375
Wait until you see science 3.
>>329795460
That's what I figured. If science 2 is too much hassle for me to figure out a set-up for, then the next tiers will only be worse.
I'm not cut out for this stuff.
i usually don't have the patience for autism simulators like spacechem and that programming game but I enjoy engineer/cargo/miner type jobs that require the use of automation on games like SS13, worth a pickup?

>$25
>early access
Gosh, I wonder why the fully complete, reasonably priced game is more popular.
>>329795651
May be when the game is better fleshed out and we can get a multiplayer group.
Start a new world on hardest difficulty and rush through production chains.
The biggest hurdle I probably have getting into this is needing to sort out resource allocation properly. Getting a massive pile of goods in one spot and accidentally sending them off where they aren't needed chokes production too much.
The game is cool but I dropped it once I was able to automate everything but the alien research stuff.
>>329795651
This is almost entirely a logic/puzzle game themed around factories/logistics.
You'll like it.
>>329795375
Here is my jankety setup for lots of green science, you don't need to use anywhere near as many assembly machines as I have.
>>329793273
It's not being fucked over by Stardew at all, Factorio managed to shift as many units in a week as had been done in the previous year via their own website.
>go to download
>0.12.25
... yea I'll see you cats in a few years.
>>329796047
jesus christ, I usually go 4 and even then sometimes I think that's too much
How do I into rail signals
>>329796182
I like to build lots of labs, currently got something like 30 running at the moment.
Not interested in waiting 15 minutes to do research.
>>329796043
All you have to do is put a bunch of the alien artifacts in a few assemblers feeding into your science belts
>>329796181
what are you talking about?
>>329796370
thats about 3 times as much as I have, but hey I'm a fucking retard who doesn't know how to play the game so I usually go pretty slow
>>329796432
probably about how its in early access
>>329793546
It's gonna be liek another 2 months mate
>>329795539
Look for science layouts on the forum, there are some really nice ones, and once you get logi bots you won't have to worry about layouts at all.
>>329796514
I'm not a pro by any means, either, I just decided to scale what I was doing up a bit.
>>329796047
Why the splitter?
>>329796776
To keep the belt balanced on left and right
>>329796158
It would have done better if all the focus wasn't on Stardew
>>329795767
I agree in theory, but isn't Factorio pretty complete with a shitload of content? It's a Google Beta sort of situation, not a half-baked game
Fucking love this game, I wish it was more popular here. It's a shame I forgot most of my knowledge of decent setups and lost my savegames since I first got really into it.
