At least Wario is still fucking Ashley's loli pussy.
>>

I bet he leaves it smelling like garlic.

can't wait for minus8 to draw Wario fucking Ashley again when the new game comes out

It's not the worst game ever, but it's so mediocre.
>no hazzards that change Wario's
>limited exploration
>boring treasures
>money serves no purpose
It's also strangely sanitized, like they went backwards in the weird factor that made WL4/3 such unique platformers, Shake It could pass for any nondescript platform if you remove the Wario name
>>
Is it so bad to just want another Wario Land?

Not that bullshit that came out on the Gamecube
>>
>>329717514
Why do people always sexualize Ashley?
>>
>>329720159
Because she's a little girl.
>>
>>329719894
Not at all, Wario Land games were the best of their kind, even MoD was better than Shake It
>>
>>329718926

>money served no purpose

To be fair WL4 had this issue too. I would've prefered coins being used to directly purchase boss battle items, OR give us more than three mini games. WL4 is nigh perfection, but the minigames are boring and pointless.

Thankfully WL4 has enough replayability solely due to going for new high scores on all the levels.
>>
>>329720159
Because she is sexy
>>
>>329719894
I kinda liked Wario World even though it was short and trippy as fuck
>>
>>329720159
>why does the internet sexualize X?
The answer is just because.
>>
Wario Land 2 > Shake It > Wario Land > Wario Land 3 > Wario Land 4
>>
>the last good wario game came out 15 years ago

Wario is dead
>>
>>329720363

WW is great despite being short. Fun, dare I say QUIRKY levels, enemies, and bosses, challenging little bonus areas that feel like the secret areas in Sunshine, and interesting unique treasures to collect. Possibly the easiest and most uncreative final boss I've ever seen in any video game ever, but oh well. And minigames if you connect with the GBA. 8/10, I replay it every now and again.
>>
>>329720897

The final boss is actually harder in the Jap. release.

>>329721583
Does Nintendo still gimp difficulty from the original JP release? I remember the Boolossus fight in Luigi's Mansion supposedly being a lot harder in the JP version because you ride your vacuum or something.
>>
What's the best Wario game? he's the best thing to come out of the mario franchise
>>
>>329721951

Wario Land 4 without a doubt.
>>

whoops! It looks like you've got garbage taste

Wario Land Shake It was 10/10 in terms of music and level design.
If you just rushed through the game without looking for any of the treasures or the hidden areas, you don't get to have an opinion about it.

>>
>>329722838
Except I did. Nothing in Shake it was particularly good, the pacing is really slow, and the shaking doesn't really go anywhere.
I also think the artstyle is a bit overrated. Yes, it'sreally smooth but the art direction is incredibly bland.
>>
>>329718926
>no hazzards that change Wario's
Fastinators
Snowballs
Freezing
Getting flattened by boulders
Catching on fire

They really went all out with the gimmicks in the secrets stages too. Like that one jungle stage where you had to auto-run for the entire thing

>limited exploration
Flat out wrong. There were a ton of secret stages to find, and almost every treasure was hidden behind a neat puzzle or platforming section.
>>
>>329721583
Oh wow its like a completely different fight
They removed his entire second phase
What the fuck
>>
>>329721951
I heard Virtual Boy Wario Land is arguably the best, but you know...
>>
>>329717330
Wario Land Shake It rocked your mom's ass, you ass, and your dad's ass.
>>
>>329723014
>Nothing in Shake it was particularly good

Music rocked

Bosses rocked

had some kick ass levels
>>
>>329720897
This is a game that really fucking interests me.
Don't know why, but the art direction, the super weird bosses and levels and the all around feel of the game feels distinctively.. Not Nintendo.
I would love to see some behind the scenes footage of the games production.
>>
Playing Shake It makes me feel like a barafag, and I didn't get that feeling from other Warios
>>
>>329722838
>and level design
More like level aesthetics. It was pretty basic platforming.
>>
>>329723014
If you got all 99 treasures and still couldn't appreciate the level design, I don't know what to tell you.
They did so many neat things with the mechanics catching on fire and the fastinator.

>money serves no purpose
Its a high score you pleb. It encourages you to explore and find all the diamonds.
>>
>>329723450
>Not Nintendo
Well, yeah. It was developed by Treasure.
>>
>>329717330
>>329722838
>>329723487
whoops! It looks like you're both opposite biased extremes
>>
>>329723460
>It was pretty basic platforming.
See, when you say shit like this it makes me think that you didn't bother with the treaures.

Shake It had some neat gimmicks, and the developers used them in really intelligent ways. That's what makes a Wario game feel like a Wario game to me.

And are you really going to pretend like the soundtrack wasn't the raddest shit? I'd say its one of the best of the generation.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lI-OW29-ovk

You realize it was by the Mystic Ninja guy right? Tomoya's a fucking legend.
>>
>>329720159
>Why do people always sexualize Ashley?
Please, sexualizing Wario is much more disturbing.
>>
>>329723871
I did collect the treasures. That's like the entire point of a Wario game.
>And are you really going to pretend like the soundtrack wasn't the raddest shit?
No? I never said anything bad about the soundtrack either. Are you one of those fanboys that immediately lashes out to defend a game when people don't like everything about it?
Don't be that type of person. You're no better than the OP saying it was all wrong.
>>
the game was basically a WL4 expansion

Shake It is my second favorite Wario game after WL4.

>>329721817
>>329723180
They didn't remove it exactly, more like it wasn't even developed in the first place. The game was released in America first, essentially Japan just got the finished version.

Biggest problem with Wario Land Shake was that the majority of it was optional.

I mean like a third of the stages you can only access by smashing the screen next to an invisible map, placed in an arbitrary location of the level.

And the secret ones were when they got really creative with the gimmicks,
>>
I didnt hate master of disguise
It had a weird vibe that somewhat I thought fitted wario
>>
>>329724069
No, At least Wario is an adult.
>>
>>329725117
It wasn't bad because it was weird.
It was bad because it had shit minigames.
>>
>>329717330
It wasn't a bad game but i will admit i didn't even try to 100% like i did 3 and 4

>Sexualizing a adult man is more disturbing than sexualizing a young child

I mean, Wario's not exactly the epitome of beauty except to Mona whatever in the hell is going inside her head, but when you see it from this perspective, shit just kind of gets real.
>>
>>329725586
Wario is manly as fuck and rich
He is the absolute epitome of male beauty
>>
>>329724069
Wario is more Ron Jeremy than Mario, he's much more fitting.

>Ashley
>child

She's 18 in US releases, no age stated in Japanese releases.
>>
>>329723454
Funny, the devs said they wanted to focus on his manliness more than other Wario devs.

I think there was also a comment about some of the women in the company not caring for Wario but growing to like him during development.
>>
>shake it sold 260k worldwide

Dead series?
>>
>>329725845
>18
>In US releases

I know this is bait, but at best, she's "15 going for 500" if I remember correctly.

Emphasis on 500, because that implies she's actually much younger than she looks.
>>
>>329726063
Depends, what are the developers of the franchise working on now?

>Good Feel last worked on Yoshi's Whooly World
>Prior to that they worked on 2 Street Pass games, Wii Play Motion and Kirby's Epic Yarn

Yarn Wario when?
>>
>>329725953

Wasn't there something on some women having him on their desktops or am I pulling this out of my ass? Because I remember something of that sort.

Maybe they grew to like him after a while despite his looks and working on the game, they probably acknowledged a bit more of his personality along the way, which isn't ultimately that bad if you disregard the whole greed schtick.
>>
>>329717330
Gave up after the second level, it's so boring.
