These are games that Nintendo is working hard on, and have put resources towards. You have to be in some kind of level of denial that is beyond reality to believe that the NX is suddenly going to come out with better games.

If you want to know if the NX will be shit or not, you need to ask yourself what you want.
Do you want a standard-type video game console? Processor, GPU, RAM, etc. A little more custom than a PC, etc.
Do you want that video game console to be more powerful than PS4? Okay. Who is Nintendo working with to get the chipset? Okay. What do those companies have on offer for a 2016 release date?
Do you think Nintendo is going to outbid other big name companies for first dibs on 14/16nm? Do you think Nintendo is going to charge $450-$500 for the NX?
Work all this through in your head, and then look at some of the suppliers Nintendo is working with [look up Pixart Imaging] and you can probably draw your own conclusions.
Mine? A CPU with a higher clock, but fewer cores than the other two, a difference-splitting GPU at best, and less total RAM than the other two.

I had no faith in the Wii U, and it turned out to be vindicated. However, while my pessimism is screaming Nintendo will fuck it up royally again, the rational side of me keeps thinking that if this is a serious move on Nintendo's part, they have to know that this is their last chance. If they fuck up again then they're potentially driven from the market. So I'm assuming they're actually going to put in some Nintendo muscle this time around.
Still not buying it on release though. That ship sailed about three and a half years ago.

People said the same thing about the wii u from ~2010-2012 and look where it ended, although they made jack shit and aa lot of they made was shit, the wii u launch library was still non existant.
When nintendo makes only bad games and only few games, its because they cant make more and cant make better ones and not some super secret plan.
This is especially the case since the big problem nintendo has, lack of proper skills for hd games, lack of development teams, lack of developers, lack of ressources put into games and +5 year development cycles, still remain and will only be worse on the NX, as Sony and MS have already shown that the jump from ps360 tier games to X1/PS4 tier games requires even more ressources and development time.
In short:
Nintendo is fucked. New hardware, same old problems.

And not a single one of those rumors turned out true.
