The combat is so insubstantial that the developers didn't even try to make proper boss fights. They can all be killed instantly or crippled by using a certain sticker in your inventory, otherwise you have to chip away at their health with 1 HP per attack.
If try to actually fight the boss, I.E. the latter method, the game whines at you in the most passive aggressive manner for not fighting the boss the proper way. Like, your Navi literally comes out of your pocket and bitches at you for wasting so many stickers, saying there must have been a more efficient way.
