Secondly it isn't good and barely even a castlevania game, only having atmosphere going for it with completely fucked difficulty and stage design. 1, 3 and Rondo are all far better classic castlevania games.

Yeah, it's really fun. The platforming and exploration is really satisfying. That said, you WILL have to use a walkthrough a few times at the very least. Some of the puzzles are very convoluted. The ones that aren't are still kinda challenging, though.
