Similar to mobas. LoL has no str, agi, int based heroes and no items or skills that work most effectively only on those certain heroes. LoL is an action game therefore and Dota is a roleplaying game thou the success in almost every action, save for runes and chance based passive skills, depends on direct player input.

I know a lot of the fans will disagree but to some extent he is correct. Witcher games are story driven action adventures with RPG elements. Playing the role of the Witcher, despite what many claim does not make this an RPG any more than playing the role of Gordon Freeman made HalfLife an RPG. The game has no ability to creature your own character and the moral choice system, while excellent in many respects is highly constrictive as it has to stay within the confines of Geralt’s established personality.
By the more loose modern definition of RPG it probably fits, but by more traditional definitions it simply has RPG elements.
