This. That's not to say that your feelings about it can't change over time.
First time I played it was way back during the open beta and I hated it. It felt slow and clunky and the story development was at best cryptic and at worst non-existent.
About a year ago I picked it back up again after completely burning out on D3, and something just clicked. The currency systems, the skill systems, character development, the feeling of community and of items having actual value as opposed to post-RoS's meaningless loot and only-one-viable-set builds. I've dumped almost 800 hours into it since then.

I've been playing it on and off since 0.9.3 (closed beta) and it's gotten progressively worse with every release.
Fuck pay to stash, fuck streamer luck, fuck appealing to RMT, fuck the power creep and fuck the massive nerfs on everything remotely fun.

I would say yes. If you already understand the basics it is better than ever. Though much easier in my opinion which sucks. The power creep is real and pretty much anything will be viable.

It has become slightly better with the new spells but they also don't understand when to tone it down like with Ice Crash
Blizzard excels in production pretty much everywhere, despite their actual gameplay decisions.

This season I sold the alt art demigod for 440ex, normal Demigod's I won for 25-30ex each, probably like 10-15 of them. 500pt reward for 30ex and 1k reward for 110ex.

Lightning Arrow is top tier, along with Tornado Shot. TS has better single target but a slightly slower clear because it requires you to actually aim where you attack. Or you could just use Blast Rain for single target, its a broken skill.
i would play it again but i just can't get bothered to understand how the economy works in this game and i feel the loot kind of unnecessarily grindy and lacking
