Well I mean if an MMO used those nunchucks, moved with an analog on them, and you could switch around commands with either voice or like that floating menu then you could have a stellar MMO experience right there. The idea of .//hack was pretty simple and I really don't see how it couldn't be reality. The only issue would be how stiff other people would look in it, but with stuff like facerig in existence and, again, menus, I don't see why it wouldn't be possible to still make it look decent.

Just having a simple tavern with multiplayer could be an excellent proof of concept. A detailed city that you could have multiple people just walk around and interact in would be an awesome experience. You can make the cities whatever you want them to be and still feel like you're there

I don't really see what's so impressive about Vive's room thing, it seems extremely limited and gimmicky. The fact that it feels as virtual reality, I don't mind using keyboard and mouse, feels more comfortable.

Thanks for the thread, OP. It's probably shilling, but we need more of these. Too many people complain about the price or the resolution, what they don't fucking realize is that VR headsets aren't some sort of fancy monitor.
They are technology straight out of fucking Star Trek. VR is a completely new way of interacting with digital media, it's going to revolutionize video games: You are your own, realtime motion capture object. That's incredible.
And it's going to become a huge thing in porn. Just imagine the possibilities: You can pick whatever camera angle you want to watch.

IT's not a cheap technology, but it's still god damn overpriced. Kinda like when PS3 released. Everyone knew it wasn't actually that fucking expensive, that's why the price dropped pretty fast and the next gen was way cheaper.

The goal of these webms is the opposite of what you think.
