I just recently started playing chess again.
I've been using chess titan which i hear has a bad rep.
One weird thing I noticed with it and another pc chess game I used as a child was that I seem to do allot better on the higher difficulties than the lower ones. Is it something to do with the algorithms or is it just my autism?

Its never too late to start learning to play. If you play online with rankings then you find people who are about the same skill level as you. You'll lose a lot of games at first because you start out at about 1200 but don't let that discourage you. Once you find your average and start facing people who are about the same as you, you will start learning and be able to use your ranking as motivation to become better.
I barely knew how to play chess until I was 18, and been a little over a year now and I am in the mid-900s on chess.com.
