To me its taking everything I liked about Ocarina of Time and making it better.

>the otherworldly feel of the Twilight areas, from the strange music to the high amounts of bloom and floaty black specs
Not everyone will like these and admittedly some of the items weren't all that useful (Spinner only in select areas) but it was nice while it lasted in my opinion. Its my favorite Zelda though.

It's got real good dungeon content
Arbiter's Ground, Snowpeak Ruins, and City in the Sky, are all top tier even considering dungeons over the entire series.
Also the combat is the best of the 3D games due to it's potential depth with all the hidden moves
It's just too bad that outside fighting Darknuts, there really wasn't anything that put up enough of a challenge to actually have you exercise that depth.

One can only play Ocarina of Time so many times. Plus as I said, it took Ocarina of Time, my previous favorite, and added more features and things to it to make me like it more than Ocarina. Sword skills especially were really cool and helped add to the combat. Combat is one of my favorite parts of Zelda games believe it or not. The series offers so much control.

I don't see the animu in it though. The only time I could see Zelda being called animu is if you look at the 2D art for the top down games or Skyward Word. Still, I suppose realistic isn't quite the right word, but its at least much moreso than most other titles. Its difficult to come up with the right word.

-Everything done as a Wolf is horrible; also the idea of turning into a wolf is just horrible
-Worst puzzles and dungeon design in the series
-Tried to make the game more 'difficult' by making you have to hit enemies 2-3 times more than in other 3D Zeldas; instead, it just made combat feel tedious and slow; and you have to hit enemies even more times as a wolf, again proving that playing as a Wolf is fucking stupid
-The most linear and zone ridden Zelda yet
-Overworld is so small and pointless, you are encouraged to use a warp function to avoid it
-Ugly designs trying to be 'gritty', but just looking pathetic
-Twilight mechanic is only used to block you from exploring new areas or leaving an area before finishing a story quest, making it the worst mechanic in Zelda history
-Endless NPC fetch Quests
I can go on for hours. Suffice to say, literally the only thing the game did right was Midna. But one character who only has an hour of cutscene interaction is not worth the horrid gameplay.
