Please avoid the 3000 Slim, it has scanline issues and extreme screen issues.
For about the length of a Tic Tac, the inside perimeter of the screen is significantly brighter than the rest of the screen, Sony went super cheapo with the slim.

3000 has longer battery life and a brighter screen, but it's not worth it.
I don't remember the state of piracy on the 1000/2000, but the 3000 if you're not on the last firmware released like 3 years after the previous one, you can literally just put a program on your memory stick, 4 seconds later after you run it you're running CFW, when the psp completely loses power you're back to non CFW if you need it for any reason, it's amazing.
Even the games can be digitally signed and run on original firmware (OFW means non custom, not imply age or anything)

Yeah, it kind of seems like that. But the performance isn't the only factor here. I'm also interested in handling, comfort and hackability of PSPs. That's pretty much why this thread exists

Also the GO is the best overall. Best screen, best form factor, and 16 gigs inbuilt memory. Fuck yeah.

Also, I used to really consider buying GO, but I got kind of reluctant, since you can't extract it's battery. This is a huge downside for me, since I want to be able to switch between just depleeted battery to the one full of energy, so I can extend my playing sessions that way.

My nigga. I got a memory stick for it with another 16gbs, making my entire total somewhere around 50+ games including all my emulators and PS1. Been playing DoDonPachi and DonPachi eboots at work lately, feels fucking nice.
