It's a pretty good MMO with lots of content to keep you entertained.
The game keeps you shackled to content through the main story though. You can only unlock content as you progress through the main story.

I liked the MSQ as well. I enjoy stories and FFXIV delivered a real solid one, and it got even better in HW. However, some of the quests of the MSQ were just plain boring and dragged on just until the next major happening.

Its a WoW clone. With all the same flaws as a typical WoW clone. But sadly, evenwith all its faults, its the best FF game we've had in almost 15 years. Aside from Theathrythm, which is easily the best.
The FFXIV OST is too good for the game. Much like Ragnarok Online 2 OST is too good for its game.
