Why do people think mass effect 2 was in any way acceptable.
Every last character was shit. All the old characters became shit because they all had massive shifts in personality for reasons we never saw. EG Wrex was all happy and nice, Liara was batman, Garrus was also batman.
The gameplay was changed to ignore the in universe fluff by adding "heatsinks" so you could reload.
The main story was shit since it completely ignored the main plot of the series (the reapers) until the very end when all of a sudden THEY HAVE A HUMAN REAPER
