>Talk to Jasper Knight
>Eliminate Jasper Knight

The hallmark of a silent assassin: talking to your target.
>>
>>329154913
Sometimes the most important part of going unnoticed is acting natural.
>>
>jesper kyd is yet again not returning

why would you shoot yourself in the foot like this
>>
Of course not. Blood Money is the greatest video game of all time.

Hitman 6 is still pretty good, though. Can't wait for the Paris missions.
>>
>>329154913
It's because he disguised himself as a key NPC who can lead Knight anywhere he wants.

>Having the minimap and opportunities turned on
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.

Turn that shit off, you god damn philistine.
>>
>>329155454
What does vital info bar do?

And Attention? Doesn't that indicate someone is seeing through your disguise? Turning that off would probably add artificial difficulty.
>>
>>329155574
You can still tell because they still have that helpful suspicion sound that looks like a radio going haywire. It's a very natural way that is far superior to the suspicion bar of the past games, but still not as casual as the arrows.

I hate detection arrows. It was bad in Absolution. They're bad in Ubisoft games. They're even adding it Mankind Divided.
>>
Why's the NPC routine so arbitrary?
The KGB officer only comes into the room after I killed the guard next to Jasper Knight, how is that relevant at all?
>>
>>329156190
Which room? The office with the bathroom and chess board? All three NPCs patrol in and out of there naturally for me.
>>
>>329156375
It's the new thing now, if you do something and something happens after that, regardless of if it was going to happen or not before you did it, it was scripted because it's "Scriptman"

I don't see a problem with any of it as long as you can turn it off, just like how I don't listen to people who complain about reflex in MGSV or the minimap in TW3.
Stuff you can control if you aren't a complete idiot and can read.
Also square's got my money this year, got the CE for this and mankind divided.
>>
What were your thoughts on the beta, folks?
>>
>>329157960
Pretty much shiny new Blood Money. I'm happy, but I got it for free with my R9 390, so I wasn't holding high expectations.
>>
>>329157960
Worse than Absoluton.
None of the NPC moves unless they're in the same room as you.
>>
>>329157960
1st level put me off a bit, I thought the hangar was fucking great though.
>>
>>329157960
I also liked that more of the NPCs would see through your disguise, and would pursue you if you tried walking away after they noticed you. One of the ship's crew even yelled asking if I was retarded.
>>
>>329156682
I don't mind reflex and I haven't played The Bitchers yet. I like multiple levels of suspicion and awareness. Not just patrol and alerted.
>>
>>329157960
Was breddy good. Except for stuff like animations, sometimes clunky controls and the script shit it was Blood Money 2. If they can fix what everybody and his grandma was complaining over, this will be a great game.
>>
>>329157960
Great fun. Glad I can still play it too.

The only things I want changed for the actual main release are:
-Difficulty settings, preferably the hardest one will make the A.I. smarter and detection faster.
-End-of-level ranks. I want all my creative titles back.
-Take off scripting and make A.I. move on its own based on time and not proximity.

If they do those three things and the other maps are all as big as Paris, then I'm 100% satisfied.

>shoot 50 people
>crouch down behind a chest high wall and change your clothes

Almost like you've never played a Hitman game before now, thanks for the input.

>Game is specifically designed around the ability to use these game mechanics
>lol just turn it off it's exactly the same bro
I bet you tell people to turn quest markers in Skyrim off too
>>
>>329159729
>MGSV is designed around reflex
This is why everyone thinks you're a casual anon.
>>
>>329156682
>minimap in TW3.
Because stuff like that and quest markers is retarded, and being able to disable it isn't a fix because the game was designed around the use of them, so simply disabling them doesn't fix the game. The fundamental design of the game at that point is fucked unless the devs designed it in the completely opposite fashion of designing the game around not using the minimap and later added it as an optional feature. That's never fucking happened but if it did I wouldn't complain about the game in question. It leads to drastically different experiences in the way the game plays out in a non obvious way.

"I don't like X"

I was so dissappointed with how little there was to play, I know there was a good reason but I want to play now.
