My copy of spyro: year of the dragon isn't working, can you help me?
(I posted this yesterday but didn't get anywhere)
>>329117207
No.
>>329117319
why
>>329117207
What do you want us to do? Just pirate it or if you have a PS3 download it from the store. The chances of you finding a physical copy for anything cheaper than a download are none.
>>329117207
PM'd you the fix.
>>329117207
> Option 1: Download and install PS1 emulator. Google for Spyro 3 iso and download it. Play.
> Option 2: Pay the 2 Dollars on the PSN and download it for PS3/PS4/PSVita

Fuck you nigger I hate that. The mere thought of it makes me angry

I want to know if im able to fix it. it gets to the title animation but the title and the start prompt don't come down.
I i got a copy off the PSN but it all feels odly different whether it be the colours and animation lacking detail and it dosen't regocnise my save file.

I don't think anyone will be able to help you with that. You don't even know yourself what exactly is broken, do you? So how is the internet supposed to help then.
I have all the Spyro parts on emulators, Vita and PS3 and they felt just the same everywhere.
If you insist on a physical copy, look for one on eBay, but fixing yours isn't gonna happen.

Clean the disc then. Holy shit, how old are you?

literally turn your PS1 upside down and try it again
>>329119920
but what about the save file that the PSN version didn't recognise.
>>329120423
yeah, I was interested in getting an emulator,
Im european so, thats the only way I can play megaman X4.
I was always able to emulate cartridge based games, but disk based games allways gave me trouble.
how powerfull a computer d I need, Im using an i5 HP laptop
>>329120713
Im playing it on my ps3
>>329117207
sent ;)
>>329120824
Emulating PS1 should be possible on a toaster nowadays. Just play around with the visuals.
>>329117207
emulate it
>>329117207
Have you tried redownloading it?
nvm fixed it
>>329120325
I did, I put it under water, wiped it, made it a sanwich, I tried everything.
I forgot to mention, it does work sometimes and the start prompt appears and the game plays. but I usually have to wait 2 minutes, but those instanes are few and far between.
If there is a way to play the disc or play through the save file I already have (which the PSN version won't work), I'm quite OCD about this.

>he doesnt drill holes in it
>>329122186
Gently rub toothpaste onto the reflective side of the disc and rinse with room temperature water.
>>329122420
is this legit or troll?, because im willing to try it
>>329122420
>>329122821
Results vary, it only works for very specific deformations in the disc. It's for buffing out light to moderately deep scratches.
>>329122821
It's legit. It's not like you have anything to lose.

m8
Spyro can be completed 100% in less than 6 hours
Gently sandpaper the surface of the disc.
So, EU disc on ps3? Is it by chance an Italian version of the game?
>>329121069
Ok are there any tutorials on how to install a PS1 emulator on to PC
>>329122420
when you say the reflective side, you mean the black side right?
also is there a list for the essential PS1 games that has everything. the one for ps2 is perfect ( http://vsrecommendedgames.wikia.com/wiki/PlayStation_2?file=Recommended_ps2_games.jpg) ,it has everything.
>>329123708
no its either UK or Irish
>>329124126
>you mean the black side right?
Yes.
>>329124126
Well I had the same exact problem on my Italian version, but I don't know how it fixed by itself one day. Maybe some ps3 update?
Open up the disk and resolder it
