Playing it from 100-106, it feels a bit like the pre-DS style of frost. KM only affects Oblit now and the GCD is affected by haste instead of the flat 1 second one we have now. HB is also really overtuned atm, especially with the Freezing Fog talent that does 100% more damage to your primary target.
It feels really awful with the premade gear due to low haste, but felt a lot better with around 4500 haste in questing gear.

Killing Machine now only works for Obliterate, giving Obliterate some good precedence to use to proc Rime. The talents ease out Frost's overall gameplay, and make it more than possible for 2H to work like DW purely aesthetically post Legion (Unless Blizzard goes full retard like they did with Blood DW), and they made Remorseless Winter into a pretty cool spell with some additional stuff you can choose to boost it.
No more KM fucking up your rotation, no more having to prioritize Oblit or Frost Strike randomly thanks to KM being completely random, no more reliance on Defile, no more insane downtime, better rune regeneration and handling, etc.

I think the game is actually very fun to play right now, there is just no content. There has always been a very legitimate gripe with the game, the current gripe most have, no or little content, is a very valid one. We have reached the emblem of frost stage like from WOTLK where geared or good players farm old instances for currency, or in reality to populate the pool of LFR/LFG groups so worse or newer players get carries. At least (most) of the other expansions added some new instances as time went on. Even if they weren't challenging to people in good gear they were new content. But BRF was ready to go on day one of WoD, and they held off for 6.1 to release it. When an entire expansion really only gets one patch of any significance, it is pretty shitty and lazier than they have ever been. As bad as dragon soul was- and it was pretty fucking bad- at least there were a few other things added you could do besides raid.
Another very valid gripe is Ashran and how totally shit it is. Seriously, most of the WPVP zones have been fun, ashran is terrible.
Both PVPers and PVEers should feel a little disenfranchised. I personally hate that more than ever before there is nearly zero reason to go out in the world. MOP pleasantly surprised me in contrast, I found tons of world pvp and shit to do out in the world.
I will stay subbed because I am so far in I don't want to drop out- and it's how I stay in touch with longtime friends- but I really don't have much hope legion will be good.

Shadowpriests have been getting nerfed into the ground steadily since MoP.
I regret even buying MoP and Draenor just to "check" it. They killed that spec and actually dont want people to play it. They hand out massive nerfs one patch and then give a tiny dps buff the next and call it balanced. Even though the class has no mobility and horrible self healing, they still feel its fair to nerf/remove shadowform because "casters shouldn't be tanky."

Vash'jir is one of my favorite zones. Honestly, Cataclysm was the only expansion that I wanted to do every quest in every zone, just because they were all pretty cool.
Sure, it sucked having talent trees get cut down so much, but Cata was pretty fun to level through. I never actually had a chance to raid or do anything beyond early heroics due to all my friends quitting though. I still haven't done a Cata raid, and I haven't looked them up because I haven't wanted to spoil them for when I finally get a chance to do them the first time

Wrathion's a confirmed good guy in Legion. Everything he did was to try to get prepared for the Legion's return, but the traitorous bronze dragon and Garrosh going full retard fucked it up. He's also going to help the player in Highmountain and use a Titan time artifact to bring black dragon eggs from the time before his species was corrupted to try to repopulate his kind.

I've always played an Arms warrior. I quit for a while and came back a couple months ago just to check out the zones because I enjoyed WarCraft 1 & 2 lore. During a dungeon (which are all braindead) the tank pulled half the place and died, so I equipped a sword and shield and prepared to jump into defensive stance to pick things up. To my surprise, all of the abilities that would have allowed me to do so were unavailable and apparently locked behind choosing Protection as your specialization.
While I agree that pruning abilities that do nothing was a good choice, they've really gone too far in that direction. Playing Arms right now boils down to "Colossus Smash, Mortal Strike, spam whirlwhind until the first two are off cooldown."

Selling at prime time is key too, log on 1 hour before raid time and undercut everyone.

Don't listen to what others say, you will NOT get barely any lunkers in your garrison, you need to fish in the zones, but not from pools. Make sure you have a level 3 fishing shack and Nat unlocked.

Garrisons didn't make all professions a 1 day cooldown to craft anything, garrisons didn't add the retarded cross server overflow system that made cities barren, garrisons didnt make all the gathering mats in the outside complete dogshit by having them act as 1/5th of a real fucking mat and be surrounded by 8 mobs.
Garrisons didn't make it so ALL professions got destroyed because blizzard said it was unfair for people to be able to have a buff for spending the thousands of gold and hours to max level a profession.

There are quite a few abilities off the GCD, some classes (notably Monk) can reduce their GCD to as low as 1 second. Positioning in FFXIV is also more important, since some abilities only work properly when used on an enemy's flank or back, so on top of dodging fire or whatever you're also hopping around bashing different parts of the boss. On paper the GCD sounds long, in execution it gives you just enough time to breathe.
