Even if you didn't like Infinite, you have to at least give it some credit for going in it's own direction. 2 was an uncreative continuation of a story that didn't need to be continued. The first Bioshock ties everything together at the end in a way that there is no need for a direct sequel. The only reason 2 was developed was to capitalize on the superficial elements of Bioshock without grasping at the intelligence of its storytelling.
