basically there's a glitch where if you get into a fight while in the air you'll get extra height when you exit the fight, the jump he had to make needed to have him get it exact at the apex of the jump, instead he lost height by jumping too soon, so he shouldn't have been able to make the jump so what he actually did was use hacks to make himself able to levitate and jumo again
