The combat needs significant improvement. This might be the first game I've come across where you can't adjust any of the volume levels.
I'm enjoying myself but I keep finding myself getting bored of the combat system. It's a fun game despite that, rather than because of it; the rest of the game - the world, the quests, the characters, the robots, the customisation - is the good bit.
If they had decided to make it more action-based instead of menu based, it would be the perfect game for me.
That said, I'm enjoying myself at the moment. I managed to master the gatling gun/shield class so I'm using the gatling with the blast fencer class, so I can use the photon saber. I have about five or six ballistic arts for the gatling on my menu so I can usually just cycle through all of them pretty quickly. Along with some Ranged Attack Up augments the Gatling finally feels like a bit more of a weapon.
