I was banned from PSN for changing my PS4 hard drives 4 times in 2 hours because I was testing load times in bloodborne at release with 5400 RPM, 7200 RPM, SSHD, and SSD drives to see if they made a difference.
Sony thought I was trying to hack my PS4, banned my console and my account.
I lost all the things I owned on PS3, Vita, and PS4. Over $600 in digital items, including things you cannot buy (collector's edition code items, etc).
I had JUST BOUGHT that PS4 a week prior so I could play bloodborne, and got DBZ Xenoverse and TLOU Remastered on it.
I tried for 3 weeks to get them to reverse the decision and they refused to listen to me.
I don't even play online games, so I know I wasn't banned for that.
I went to Sony Network Entertainment International in San Francisco with my PS4 and tried to get them to verify it wasn't hacked and they told me they can't overturn ban decisions, even if they were wrong.
