Bought this game, the Wild Run Edition, and it's surprisingly good so far. I read up on the improvements they did with this, and man, it shows. Anyone else that likes this game?

Reset the car to the track if it happens. Irritating as shit though because everyone knows how to replicate it (Happens on AMD CPU's and in the midwest region) and Ivory Tower still haven't fixed it.
Patch is next week but they will probably not fix it again. Also jesus christ they need to start putting more tracks into the PvP and Faction mission rotation. Even ask the community to make some waypoint races to share and the best ones are put in as new tracks every month.

Fully upgraded in perf spec it tops out at around 350/370KMH, i find it keeps up with most anything.
It's weakness is cornering, rear end tends to let go if you arent careful with the throttle. (this applies to perf spec only)
It dosent really have any weaknesses in dirt spec and i would dominate with it back when i was actually playing.
The car itself is a microtransaction, cost about 5 bucks or free with the season pass, although once you join a faction the game gives you enough "credits" to buy it.

Those immediately come to mind. Also, I'm still mad they stopped doing "East City", "West City" etc. In GT3 and GT4 you had countries signifying car producers and now you just have one gigantic menu. Sure, it may be convenient, but the soundtrack for GT2 was so comfy in the menus that the clunky nature is so easily forgotten.
GT6 was basically GT5, way more similar than GT5 and GT4. And what ruined the games was that you would get so much free cars right from the start. I started out in GT6 with millions in cash, where's the progression?
Earlier GTs always had those cars that you cherished, because you could use them for a broad number of events and got tons of use out of them, slowly purchasing upgrades and using them ever more often. In GT5 and GT6, you can just buy whatever car you need and tune it blindly, without ever worrying about cash or how much use you'll get out of the car. This also renders oil changing etc. obsolete.

Yeah, its piss easy to make money if you play the seasonal and special events, but nobody is forcing you to do them.

This isn't an argument either. Great, I'm glad you're having fun. It's evidently a negative point though, especially since they used new damage system etc. as a marketing tactic, then delayed the game for years and then it turned out only 10% of the cars (if it's even that many) do not have any of the features promised. And the "better graphics" point is also easily debatable, the games do not look like a PS3 should, most likely because they went way overboard with the sheer number of cars included.
And let's not talk about installation times.

I'd rather wait until i can get both cheap. Never really kept up with the updates and how the community felt.

Yeah, I got GT6 literally for free on Play-Asia. Don't think they still have that offer, but Sony/Play-Asia were really desperate to get rid of that shit, they threw it in for every order, if you wanted it, for like two months.
I did buy GT5 at release though, I was so fucking hype. Got a refund a few days after. Picked it up again later for cheap, hoping it would've improved. It hasn't, sadly, but at the price tag I got it for (somewhere around $10-$15 too), I couldn't be bothered to return it.
And the sad thing is, those installation times are that bad no matter whether you buy digital or physical. There's no escape, anon. EMBRACE IT.

There is none. MMOs usually aren't the first games to get cracked, and The Crew is fairly new, plus I don't think the playerbase is too large.
