4 was my first game though looking back it isn't that good, cool music though. 5 is alright.
Played all the LoS games but only finished the first one, they're cool but completely different though so I feel like they hardly count.

Different anon here but I must say, I had a lot of fun with the glitches in enter the dragonfly when I was little. I found one where I could charge dive in some shallow pool, and I glitched through and swam through the skybox. It was pretty surreal back then.
I'm not a fan of Skylanders, but come on OP, calling it worse than Year of the Dragonfly is a bit much.

On my 10th birthday I got a ps1 and spyro 2. I played the hell out of that game, I think it was really the only game I ever played on it along with trapgunner.
I loved it so much it was the first game I ever %100-ed (I'm not totally sure dragon shores was worth the ptsd I got from getting all those fucking orbs, some of them were insane tier difficulty curb for a 10 year old)
Then when I was I think 14 my parents got me a ps2 with ratchet and clank (loved it), jak and Daxter (watching the commercials everyday was the whole reason I wanted a ps2 and not a GameCube like all my friends- also loved that game too) and then enter the dragonfly...
What a goddamn soul crusher. I felt bad, my mom was super stoked to get it for me because I loved the older spyros so much so I forced myself to choke down that load of shit just to show I appreciated the thought.
What a load of horse shit that was, which was sad because it had potential. I like the music for the most part and some of the levels were kinda fun. But those load times were in fucking real, It would be around ten minutes for one fucking level.
I swallowed enough shit to make it to the final boss and fight ripto again for nostalgia sake.
What a fucking mistake that was. I couldn't beat it for the longest time due to disinterest and the battle being a slog fest of garbage. The worst part was once you try to fight ripto, you're stuck in the battle because of auto save and no matter what you can't leave until you beat him.
Fuck that was a let down.
