I think there's a more recent one out there but this is the first one I pulled off Google and it's been working well.
The only other problems with the fan translation is there are a couple of memes the team sneaked in there and the last route is rushed as fuck compared to Hoshido and Nohr because the team wanted to get it out before the official release. They stated they weren't planning on going back and editing it either.
But it's a small price to put up with to play it a month early and if you don't feel like paying $80 to enjoy the full game.

MHX has an english patch, latest version is v9 (none of the character dialogue however, but it's perfectly playable since everything important is translated)
Taiko is a rhythm game, translation is irrelevant unless you for some reason want to know the fucking story in the rpg mode if you can't guess what's going on from what's happening on the screeng.
Beyond the Labyrinth has a full english translation patch I believe.
EX Troopers isn't translated but it's still a lot of fun to play since it's a Lost Planet spinoff with mechas.

I also recommend setting up ctr boot manager so that you always launch into emunand unless you hold L on startup, this way you will never accidently go into sysnand and fuck up something (fucking up emunand isn't a big deal since you can just inject a backup of it with emunand tool, or just make another if you don't have a backup. With sysnand on the other hand if you fuck up there you have to start all over again from scratch.)
Emunand can also be updated to 10.3 on o3ds and to 9.5 on n3ds unless using reinand, just make sure you are on emunand when updating, also exiting the system settings will go back to sysnand unless ctr boot manager is set up like I described before, where it will go to the ctr boot manager screen instead.

It's really not that difficult. I started playing with cfw on loads of different devices since the ill fated gizmondo. It's really no more difficult now than it was when I was a retarded teen - all you need to be capable of is being able to RTFM. If you feel unsure, read, read and read more. Read people's posts about fucking up and read the possible solutions people give. You'll be able to piece that shit together.

You have to hold L when you boot rxTools, select boot RX or whatever, and then you pick sysnand instead of emuNAND. The FBI installer won't work unless you're in RX mode.
I pretty much just fumbled my way through a combination of an outdated pasta and the LITERAL RETARD pasta. Everything works, CIAs install, life is good. Just some Qs so I know my shit.
