Nintendo is normally very cheapass on the hardware, but the 28nm node is roughly 4 years old by now. So it should be more affordable.

What you fail to understand is that Nintendo makes a shit ton of money through their software. WiiU has a good attachment rate, especially with Nintendo's own games, much higher than the average PS4 owner who only buys FIFA, Madden and COD.
