Yeah, DS version has some short anime FMVs in it and also a fairly lengthy bonus dungeon along with a new boss and ending that ties into Chrono Cross.

What you can do (and what I did) is pirate the fan translation of the PSP version of the first game and play that first. If you like it enough then get the second, hopefully by then the PC version will be out (there was never a fan translation of the second game on PSP).

P4DAN is a pretty mediocre rhythm game honestly and any story relating to P4 went out the window after P4A. I love the Persona series but even I stayed away. I borrowed a friend's copy and it leaves a lot to be desired especially after playing the hell out of Hatsune Miku and Theaterhythm.
The setlist has a lot of crap in my opinion since a lot of song are remixes by DJs in Japan and some sound awful. Just wait for the eventual pricecut on Amazon.Get PQ in the mean time

Already got PQ, all things aside I liked it because it's an RPG spinoff of an RPG so to me it's just more of what I like. Arena and DAN are pulling at me because I like the P4 cast enough to want to see more of them doing whatever, but the genre of those spinoffs are games I have no interest in. Guess I'll just wait.
You just need PPSSPP to emulate PSP games, it's perfect. I played Danganronpa 1 on my iPad with a PS3 controller using PPSSPP, it worked perfectly.
