Maybe because Fallout New Vegas was a cash-in reskinned Fallout 3 and literally the epitome of what is wrong with the gaming industry? It didn't fix any of the bugs or improve the gameplay which was the biggest issue everyone had with 3. They just lazily put out an expansion pack for $60 and charged for more overpriced DLC. Fallout 4 is at least making strides forward technically.
